Troubleshooting

Changes Not Appearing on Storefront

Troubleshoot when your storefront changes are not visible: cache, build, and deployment issues explained.

Changes Not Appearing on Storefront

Sometimes after making changes in the admin panel, you may not see them reflected on your storefront immediately. This guide covers the most common causes and solutions.

Browser Cache

The most common reason is your browser caching old content. Try these steps:

  1. Hard refresh — Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to bypass the cache.
  2. Incognito window — Open your store in a private/incognito window to see the latest version.
  3. Clear browser cache — Go to your browser settings and clear cached images and files.

Theme Changes Not Appearing

If you changed your theme, colors, or sections:

  • Wait 30 seconds after saving changes, then refresh your storefront.
  • Theme changes are applied immediately, but your browser may have cached the old styles.
  • If using a custom domain, CDN caching may delay changes by a few minutes.

Product Changes Not Appearing

For product updates (title, price, images):

  • Verify the product status is set to "Published" in the admin panel.
  • If you just changed the status from Draft to Published, refresh the storefront.
  • Check that the product is not filtered out by the collection or category view you are browsing.

Page and Blog Post Changes

For pages and blog posts:

  • Ensure the status is "Published" — draft content is not visible on the storefront.
  • Verify the slug/URL is correct by checking the page settings.
  • If you changed a slug, the old URL will return a 404. Update any links that referenced the old URL.

When to Contact Support

If none of the above solutions work:

  • Try a completely different browser or device to rule out local caching issues.
  • Check if the issue persists on the Nuvi subdomain (even if you use a custom domain).
  • Contact Nuvi support with details about what change you made and when, along with screenshots of both the admin panel and storefront.
