Meta Titles and Descriptions
Every page, product, and blog post in Nuvi has fields for meta title and meta description:
- Meta Title — The title that appears in search results and browser tabs. Keep it under 60 characters. Include your primary keyword and brand name.
- Meta Description — The summary shown below the title in search results. Keep it under 160 characters. Make it compelling — it is your first impression in search results.
Product SEO
For each product, optimize:
- Product Title — Include relevant keywords (e.g., "Organic Cotton T-Shirt - Unisex").
- Description — Write detailed, unique descriptions. Avoid copying manufacturer text.
- Image Alt Text — Describe what is in the image for accessibility and SEO.
- URL Handle — Keep it short and keyword-rich (e.g., "organic-cotton-tshirt").
Sitemap
Nuvi automatically generates a sitemap at yourstore.com/sitemap.xml. This file lists all your public pages, products, and blog posts. Submit it to Google Search Console to help Google discover and index your content faster.
Blog Content for SEO
Publishing regular blog posts is one of the most effective SEO strategies:
- Write about topics your customers search for.
- Use H2 and H3 headings to structure your content.
- Include internal links to your products and other pages.
- Aim for at least 500 words per article.
