Managing Sections
Sections are the building blocks of your storefront pages. Each section is a modular component that you can add, remove, reorder, and configure independently.
What Are Sections?
Each page on your storefront is built from sections stacked vertically. Common section types include:
- Hero Banner — Large header image with text overlay and call-to-action
- Featured Products — Showcase selected products or collections
- Testimonials — Customer reviews and social proof
- FAQ — Frequently asked questions with accordion layout
- Content Block — Rich text content with optional images
- Newsletter Signup — Email subscription form
- Tour Grid — Grid layout for services or products (travel theme)
Adding a Section
Using the AI assistant is the easiest way to add sections:
- Open the AI assistant from the admin panel.
- Say "Add a testimonials section to my homepage".
- The AI will create and configure the section for you.
- Review the change on your storefront.
Reordering Sections
The order of sections determines how they appear on the page. To reorder:
- Go to Settings > Themes > Customize.
- Use the section list to drag and drop sections into your desired order.
- Save your changes.
Or use the AI: "Move the FAQ section above the testimonials".
Configuring Section Settings
Each section has its own settings, such as:
- Title and subtitle text
- Background color or image
- Number of items to display
- Button text and link
- Layout variant (grid, list, carousel)
Removing a Section
To remove a section, use the AI: "Remove the newsletter section from my homepage". Or delete it from the theme customizer. Removing a section does not delete any underlying data — you can always add it back later.
